Time for a prayer perhaps?

Or – Another lesson from the virus!
1
Dear Lord
Some years ago, many Christians and others worked against the apartheid system run in South Africa.
Later many Christians and others worked against the hideous asylum seeker segregation regime instituted by a previous Australian Liberal Party government and continued to be maintained up to the present.
Currently the civilised world is starting to raise its resistance to the apartheid system operating against the Palestinian people in West Asia.
1
Only to be trumped by a growing segregationist / apartheid system being developed in the Western World – the vaxxed against the unvaxxed accompanied by a Stasi like approach with Government Ministers and Police leadership encouraging people to become spies and informers on their fellow citizens, and we all saw how that ended up in the DDR.
1
Dear Lord
This time around, let all people of goodwill, integrity, honesty, decency and truth hear a call and act on your example when you saw the tide of evil enveloping your society,
1
Dear Lord
We hope so, as accommodating evil is worse that evil itself and acting on this is an ethical question par excellence. The movement of the spirit is desperately needed in people who are open and attuned to actioning it – to forestall another dark age developing.
1
Lord hear us.

Life on the Edge

Back to the Future
1
Back to when or where matters not, what does actually and scientifically, is what is the future when drugs are not being sufficiently tested or more likely experimented on we poor human frailties of earthly existence.
1
Back to the future where more understanding and diversity existed: or we had hoped for and felt protected by, laws and guidelines of propriety.
1
But now of course, any course but not to change the course, is a most dire worry for our future in the face of generations to forward plan and survive.
Why?
Because we have let others dictate our terms of right and wrong, or more likely mistaken views and limited perspectives.
1
What is it we want?
Is it to survive as rigorously as possible to sustain and not to destructively destroy, our worth and validity, our purpose and potentiality?
1
What is it that can be considered now, in this over stated and under rated call for ‘pandemic’ – loud and clear without even testing the impact of a few against the many who now have problems that do not relate to a pandemic but the futility of lock-downs and lock-ins?
1
Vaccinate, the only solution to provide the call to safety and response to any form of fear like storm, ageing us to weather the outcome regardless of the costs to our health and stability, ability and likely future of no work for the many. No hope for the few already excluded. Less likely a way forward without some form of controlling arm, political police state or army around?
1
What is it we are wanting for ourselves and families, our worth and stability, our factories and working lives?
Are we concerned at the very least about the impact of not taking the responsibility of “who I am” and indeed who in me is able to tell right from wrong? Do we critically consider what we are being fed daily in the hype of the media frenzy to instil fear aimed at inhibiting lifting a finger or walking in favour of freedom of speech and freedom of internet users and Youtube informationists?
1
How can we live if no freedom when the next hit comes?
Is it back to testing everyone?
And if that does not enlighten what then?
What of the future under such a draconian stance?
What of our future if young? No hope that we have work to survive and health to maintain the basics of herd immunity or life expectancy into an older age – because something went wrong with the mice later on?

++++++++++++++++++++ * * *

The facts. Whose and what for in the end?
Have you read science fiction lately?
No need, we are under that drum right now.

In the Pink

and I am not yet three
1
My little heart bled when I could not think
that I would have to be in lockdown till I was three or four
the way things are going now in this pandemic type of speech.
1
In the pink, I suppose I am.
In the pink away from poor ’ole Pa and Nan.
In the pink away from my little folk at the weekend break.
1
Now of course it is the same old coarse – no way free, no way safe to venture out for little ’ole me.
1
What is it that I am to do?
What is it that now I am not even more than the age of one or is it two?
I have been in lockdown since … was it in the womb or from then on and since?
What type of world am I in?
Is it far from Nan and Pa and family across the borders
to where I am not sure
as I have not been able to venture past my own front door?
1
The horrible state I am in here with my beloved mum and dad.
Course the cat but that is no longer any form of fun
for I am only able to walk when older
if able without some form of jab or such.
Can I be able to know what it is like
to have family other than the perpetual zoom at night?
1
That’s it folks – lockdown orders from above
and not even from those stories of God and too of love.

Evil has us in its Grip

No Imagination for Evil
1
A recent article in the Spectator Australia (7-8-2021) by Professor James Allan, drew attention to a person’s responsibility in the sphere:
“How do legal rules and legal obligations look similar to, and different from, moral rules and moral obligations? And in his discussion of the third of those, Hart comes down strongly on the side of the need for all of us to distinguish law and morality, the claims of the one and of the other.”
1
Professor Allan has called to light the existential challenge of our time in Australia. It is a very thought provoking article in this time of SARS_COV2 societal challenge.
1
As a layman, I have no expertise in the law, but like every other person (with the exception of clinical psychopaths perhaps?) I do have some personal experience of conscience and flowing from it the moral and ethical imperatives.
1
This of course presents the conundrum of what is conscience and where does it come from; taking it out of the rational scientific materialism domain and lobbing it squarely, for this wayfarer, in the soul of man domain.
This of course is total baloney for the great majority of the population (95%) but it is not until faced with a real existential problem that has no obvious silver bullet fix, that these questions may start to fleetingly flash across the screen of many peoples’ minds.
1
Have a read of Professor Allan’s article and see what you think.

Covid Arctic Chill

The Wind in Time
1
The freezing Covid arctic like wind has swept the rubble and dust of the wreckage of Western culture into a blizzard that is blinding the dream like fantasy of more and more for ever.
1
Now, given that the culture is predominantly a product of the upper classes; people with some degree of leisure time away from the dictatorship of total work to pursue the seeking of wisdom, if desired; plus the deliberate greed driven attempt to steer it in directions beneficial to the power elite controlling huge resources dedicated to producing myths for the sheep to follow as circumstances continually change; – given that, the current frozen nature of the “Wind in Time” in Eurocentric culture is easily understood.
1
And so one wonders, what has been the key feature allowing the generation of this collapse? Let me suggest that the abandonment by the ruling class, of a class demand that merit is at its core, opened the way to the rise of the five eyes of evil destroying the West: Hubris; Power Worship; Envy; Greed and Humbug.
Fragmented gangster-ism as currently evident, cannot flourish without them.
1
And so, where does that leave the individual who can recognise the need for change, but where none of the current societal choices fit the need? Where does the individual find a solid enough base to stand in going the way of standing apart from the herd in their endeavour to try and effect some change for good?
Can I suggest that the reversal of Friedrich Nietzsche’s observation of the death of god in the hearts of Eurocentric people will be the only way, and for this to happen, the individual will have to find and develop a personal relationship with the divine within, albeit God understood in a very different way.
1
The institutional expression of the “religious way” in the West has effectively committed suicide and so a more marginal mystical way will be needed. In Christianity, John’s gospel provides that window, if not read literally. The way ahead could be stated as God consciousness, allowing for a newly thawed Wind and Breath to flow.
1
The search for how to do this is the core task for this new age. Perhaps Delphi provides a clue to start with?
The hollowness of man is where the divine enters.
